Hello, my name is Shani Vargo. I am a animation artist currently based in USA.

    I was born and raised in Shanghai, a city situated east coast of China. I study Animation and received Bachelor of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2009.

    As a child, I was exposed a lot to western movies and Japanese animation besides Chinese culture. I found myself very interested in imagery media dissemination and expression, as well as imagery interaction. Over time, I was getting more and more fascinated by the multi-expressions of animation. To me it is amazing that the same story can arouse so many different emotions when it is expressed in different ways. This makes me extremely interested in exploring different visual styles and moods in animation. Driven by the thirst for a further understanding of the combination of imagery, sound and story, I choose animation as my major in Savannah College of Art and Design.  The college education broadens my view and deepens my understanding of animation. I believe animation as a branch of art has great potential for development.
